Parenting Education Classes

Your parenting challenge is to raise a confident, respectful, self-reliant, responsible, and cooperative child.

Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) classes provide you with the parenting tools for you to fulfill this challenge in an effective, non threatening manner.

Truancy Intervention

Our counselors help discover the problem areas that may cause a youth to miss school, including friends, family, drug issues, peer pressure, and environmental issues.

The program calls for weekly school visits by a counselor with the student, while simultaneously reviewing their attendance records and grades.

Youth & Family Advocacy

Providing parents and youth the skills needed to increase their confidence in their abilities to solve problems, avert crisis, and advocate for themselves.

Counselors may advocate on behalf of the family and youth when deemed appropriate.
